Genetic Testing
FAQ
Does the high risk found in genetic testing mean that I have developed a disease?
In genetic testing, high risk does not indicate that your current health condition is at risk. It means that you are more likely to develop a certain disease than those are with other gene types. Disease is caused by genetic and environmental factors and not by genetic factor alone. In other words, genetic test results cannot determine whether you have developed a disease or not.
